High on Life is almost here, with its Xbox Game Pass launch currently set for mid-December 2022. Ahead of time, the team has released another extended gameplay video — this time a 25-minute-long clip — and all of High on Life's quirky personality is absolutely on show.
The sequence takes us through a variety of the game's levels, each as zany as the last, with the game's colourful cast of characters taking centre stage. Seriously, this feels like a shooter like no other and we can't wait to go hands on!
Recently, we sat down with the team at Squanch Games to talk all things High on Life, including the team's relationship with Microsoft in bringing the game to Xbox Game Pass on December 13th.

So excited for this, seen one short trailer and that was enough for me to know this is exactly up my street!
Can’t wait!
This looks really, really annoying.
@AndroidBango yeah , might be alright if you play it on mute lol
I really don't get what people are seeing in this except for the humour? The gunplay looks generic and uninspired at best, imho there are a ton of far better shooters.
I'll play it of course, be rude not to! But I know I'll turn the guns chat down as low as I can, cause even for the duration of a demo video I'm annoyed AF with their incessant talking.
If anyone has some some gameplay that gets them excited, please do let me know what it is, cause other than the humour and funky creature design, I cant see what's appealing?
Yeah the personality of a 12 year old with that lame humor - and that gameplay looks cluuuuunnnnkyyyyyy...
@AndroidBango
It looks terrible lol
@Would_you_kindly seriously - - and the gameplay isn't looking so hot
@Titntin ditto - Justin Roilands writing is always annoying babble - this is for hard-core fans of his only because as a game it just doesn't look great at all
