Okay, so, Planet of Lana launches on Xbox Game Pass next spring, and ever since locking eyes onto it we've loved the look of its bright, colourful world. Contrary to what we've been fixated on so far though, there is a game behind those gorgeous visuals, and the team has just shown off nearly 20 minutes of it with some developer commentary.
Planet of Lana is a puzzle-platformer at heart, featuring 11-year-old Lana and her cute companion as they navigate some stunning environments. The team talks about how Lana's capabilities progress throughout the game, as she gets used to her own attributes and ways of dealing with foes.
For now, Planet of Lana has a rough launch window of 'Spring 2023', and yep, it hits Xbox Game Pass on day one. If you're not sold just yet, here's a dev description of this upcoming puzzle adventure:
A young girl and her loyal friend embark on a rescue mission through a colorful world full of cold machines and unfamiliar creatures. Planet of Lana is a cinematic puzzle adventure framed by an epic sci-fi saga that stretches across centuries and galaxies.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, some of the indies that have come out the last few years are my favorites of the year. Death's Door, Tunic, ect. Looking forward to this one.
Looks pretty sweet! There have been plenty of indie games that I've played via game pass that I probably never would've played and it looks like this may end up being one of them. Tunic, The Gunk, Beacon Pines, and The Artful Escape immediately come to mind and I've enjoyed them all!
Also Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion...no way I would've played that one without game pass and I loved it!
This looks great! Definitely a title I will be playing and enjoying at launch.
