Over this past weekend, the Halo World Championship final has been taking place in Seattle, which has provided the opportunity for some of the most prominent Team Xbox members to attend, given its relatively close proximity to Xbox HQ. One of those members is the Xbox boss himself, Phil Spencer, who has since taken to Twitter to thank everyone included in the production.
Although Xbox's Major Nelson isn't quite as fan-facing as he once was, the long-time exec was also present, trying his hand at the Halo arcade game, 'Fireteam Raven', while attending the event.
If you're into your competitive Halo you'll know that Optic Gaming came out on top in the end, becoming Halo World Champions in the process.
Outside the world of esports, 343 Industries detailed a huge Halo Infinite update last week, set to arrive on November 8th. Judging by everything coming to the game as part of the Winter Update, November 2022 looks like something of a relaunch for Halo Infinite.
