Gamevice has announced some fresh details on its upcoming mobile gaming controller, including a solid launch date. The 'Gamevice Flex' hits stores on October 25th in the US, for $99.95 on Android and $109.95 on iOS devices, and there's a neat bonus for Xbox Game Pass users.
Gamevice is bundling in one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with all Flex orders, giving owners free access to the entire library for a month. Better yet, if you pre-order one before October 14th, you'll also get a second month of Game Pass at no extra cost. Nice!
"As a limited time incentive for existing Xbox Game Pass subscribers, pre-orders made before October 14 will include a voucher for a free one-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. New subscribers can add this one-month voucher to the one-month voucher that is included in all Gamevice Flex units for a total of two free months. All Gamevice Flex for iOS and Android units sold after October 14 will come with a one-month free voucher to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for new subscribers only."
Here's a little bit more about what the Gamevice Flex offers up:
"Gamevice Flex delivers a seamless transition from console to mobile cloud gaming featuring premium console-quality buttons, Hall effect triggers with longer range, improved ergonomics for extended play, and (by popular demand) a 3.5mm headphone jack, so that any phone can be turned into a console by attaching a Flex."
And here are some pictures from the Android version of the Gamevice Flex:
The Flex is an officially licensed Xbox product, intended to work hand-in-hand with Xbox Cloud Gaming. It's also a follow-up to the popular Razer Kishi, so it could be worth a go for anyone looking for a new xCloud controller!

I had a Razr Kishi and whilst the buttons were fine, it never felt 100% sturdy. I’ve also tried the GameSir devices and liked them better than the Kishi. Overall though, the Backbone One is , for me by far and away the very best controller for my iPhone out there. I have a spare iPhone and use that as my go to handheld device now. Can’t think of anything better. Since I’ve had the BackBone and spare ProMax Phone , I literally haven’t even picked up my Nintendo Switch for 4 months!
I'll wait for reviews and maybe buy one at Christmas. Already happy with my Razer Kishi, but I'll admit a 3.5 mm jack and being able to keep the case on are nice touches. Also, lol at the IOS one being $10 more expensive.
@BaldBelper78 what do you play on your iPhone? Curious. I’d like to use mine more for gaming but most of the stuff doesn’t hold me interest for too long
"It's also a follow-up to the popular Razer Kishi"
I'm confused, isn't the Kishi V2 the follow up to the Kishi?
I bought the gamesir and love it. When the wifi works..........

You lost me at "spare ProMax phone" that's a $1000+ phone. If you have another going 'spare' send it my way. lol
@Dusk_Actual im just using my for xcloud at the moment
@Dusk_Actual Xcloud and remote play but also so many Apple Arcade games. Apple Arcade is great and needs more love. Tower of Fantasy, Jet Set 2 , Bomberman, Sociable Soccer, COD Mobile although not on Arcade are superb. My switch is gathering dust. Unless I want a specific Nintendo game there is no need to own it at all.
Will it be distributed in Europe? In my experience its impossible to find a controller for iOS
I bought a GameSir X2 Pro this week and wish I'd waited for this or the Backbone for Android. It's a great controller but I didn't realise it no wired audio capability when I ordered it. I bought some low latency Bluetooth earbuds which make up for that but a 3.5mm jack or USB C audio capable should be standard on these controller shells in my opinion. Good on Gamevice doing just that.
