With the latest generation we're seeing quite a few titles make their way over from PC to console, especially in the free-to-play space. Shatterline is the latest such title we've spotted; a futuristic FPS that's gained some serious traction on PC since its early access release last month.
Since that September 8th launch date, Shatterline has over 12k user reviews at the time of writing, amounting to a 'mostly positive' overall rating on Steam. It's good news, then, that the game is coming to Xbox, although a date hasn't been nailed down just yet.
For now, the Ukrainian developer is aiming for a February 2023 PS5 launch date. The above post shows an Xbox release is in their plans though, and the team has recently reassured us that an Xbox port is coming, they just haven't figured its release date out just yet!
Either way, we'll be here for Shatterline when it does eventually make its way to Xbox. It looks bloody good fun to play, and it even has some PvE elements including a rogue-lite co-op mode. Here's the game's story trailer, which adds a bit of context to Shatterline's futuristic world:
What do you think to Shatterline? Interested in its Xbox release? Let us know!
