At today's Ubisoft Forward showcase, the developer has brought a first official look at The Division Heartland, its upcoming free-to-play spin-off for The Division series. There's not a whole lot of gameplay in here, but there are a few sneak peeks at the game's location - 'Silver Creek'.
Developer Red Storm says that Heartland will feature "streamlined survival gameplay" in a completely new world separate from the first two Division titles. The game does tie directly into the mainline games though, linking new characters and storylines with those from both core Division games.
Ubisoft didn't bring a release date for us, sadly, but you can register for closed testing right now via the game's official website. The test is open to console users too, you simply pick your platform and sign up.
What do you think of this one? Does it look a fun addition to The Division series? Let us know below!
