Ubisoft has announced as part of today's Ubisoft Forward 2022 event that Trackmania is getting a resurgence on Xbox next year with a free-to-play experience! It's actually a remake of the 2006 game Trackmania Nations, and the PC version of this remake has been available to play since July of 2020.
You can check out the console reveal trailer above, along with more details below:
Play in an online multiplayer environment or solo against ghosts of players. Improve steadily thanks to innovative gameplay features, regionalized rankings and medals to collect, so you can race your way to the top.
With the powerful Trackmania creation and sharing tools, you can create tracks using innovative gameplay blocks. You can also imagine game modes, paint 2D skins and edit replays.
In addition to these features, Trackmania also features regular content updates, the ability to join in-game clubs, an option to compete in daily and weekly tournaments, cross-play and cross-progression, and a whole lot more!
Trackmania® combines easy-to-learn, hard-to-master gameplay with a wide diversity of tracks, in addition to regular seasons & live events.

Great game! Played since release and it is fantastic now with loads of content. Looking forward to playing at 4K.
Sucks that it’s going to be F2P. I would totally have paid for a full premium release.
