If you've been wondering what the latest is on Paramount's Halo series, it seems the cast and crew have just started the production of Season 2.
In an update on social media via the official Halo on Paramount+ Twitter account, a photo was shared of the show's Spartan cast, revealing how Season 2 production has now started in Iceland.
Although the first season wasn't always well received, not long after its launch Paramount+ officially hailed it as a "huge global hit" - mentioning how it had also become its "most -watched" premiere ever.

Guess they didn't learn from the first season...
I struggled to finish season 1. I will not even try with another one.
Between this and Infinite, it's rough being a Halo fan lately. I forgot I didn't even bother finishing S1 of this.
I didn't even know this was renewed.. why??? Only way S2 could deliver is if they rebooted the whole thing, with new cast, direction, and probably genre.
I liked it , the Netflix resident evil series on the other hand lol
Terrifying headline...it's not October yet!
I don’t understand why this got so much hate, I really enjoyed it and it was obvious it was only introducing the characters and their relationships with each other, all while it was building up to the Halo ring itself which is where they will be heading in S2 hence why they are filming in Iceland with the lush green lands, rock formations and waterfalls which the Halo ring in Combat Evolved is known for.
Also those of you who didn’t bother to watch S1 to the end, if you did then you’d of known that the Master Chief we know from the games is now in control of Pablo Schreiber’s character, John 117. Can’t wait for S2!
Hasn't the Halo community suffered enough with Season 1?
After season 1... who cares? Torturing myself by watching this would be a waste of time. I'd rather go back and play through Master Chief Collection again.
