It seemed like Marvel's Midnight Suns was almost guaranteed to be delayed out of 2022 and into 2023, but we've got some good news! As revealed at the Disney and Marvel Showcase 2022, it's officially releasing on December 2nd, 2022.
The news was issued alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer at the event (which you can watch above) and pre-orders are also live on the Xbox Store as of today for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
As for the Xbox One version, Marvel says launch timing will be available "at a later date".
If you need to remind yourself, here's what you can expect from the game this fall:
"Marvel’s Midnight Suns is the ultimate crossover event combining the rich story, character relationships, customization and progression of an RPG with the tactical strategy and combat mechanics of a revolutionary new card-based tactics game.
Set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, you will forge unbreakable bonds with legendary Marvel Super Heroes and dangerous supernatural warriors in the fight against the world’s greatest threat yet…the demonic forces of Lilith and the elder god Chthon."

Definitely looking forward to this one. Hopefully it’s not hard-as-balls like those fairly recent firaxis XCOM games
Disney knows how to get me to buy another Marvel game. Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
Until then, I'll be happily skipping. Guardians of the Galaxy was a nice outlier. But it is exactly that, an outlier.
@InterceptorAlpha I love Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, but MUA 3 was a disappointment for me, so I hope they do better than that if they ever make a fourth game in the series.
I would love to see remastered versions of the X-Men Legends games, I never played them back in the day, but I’ve understood that Ultimate Alliance was sort of a spiritual sequel to Legends.
