Update: It's been confirmed! Lies of P is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one in 2023.
Original story: Well, well, well! Gamescom 2022 hasn't officially kicked off yet at the time of writing, but it looks like a brand-new Xbox Game Pass release has already been revealed a little prematurely courtesy of Xbox's Aaron Greenberg.
The GM of Xbox Games Marketing has been posting images of the Xbox booth at the event today, and one of those images contains the game "Lies of P" next to an Xbox Game Pass banner, as you can see below:
If you've never heard of it, Lies of P is an action souls-like game in which you play as Pinocchio (yes, the Pinocchio) as you progress through his "unrelenting journey to become human". The game is set in a "dark Belle Époque world", and features a weapon-making system, special skill system, multiple endings and much more.
Here's a bit more about it:
"Play as Pinocchio, a puppet mechanoid, and fight through everything in your path to find this mystery person. But don't expect any help along the way and don't make the mistake of trusting anyone. You must always lie to others if you hope to become human."
We're assuming we may hear more about Lies of P during the Xbox livestream this Thursday, or perhaps even as soon as this evening at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022. Either way, we'll let you know if and when there's confirmation!
Update: It looks like the arcade game You Suck at Parking might also be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch, as it's also been spotted at the booth today with a Game Pass label. We'll keep you up to date throughout the week!

The Snitch strikes again.
Not a big fan of Souls games, but this atmosphere looks pretty cool. If it comes to gamepass i will at least try it out.
Major Nelson also revealed the line-up during Gamescom and most of them are GP titles inclusing Lies of P.

Do all these really cool-looking action games need to be souls like?
If MS/Xbox can actually deliver the goods, 2023 is gonna be an amazing year for GamePass.
@KonstantTrouble I know, right?!
I'm sorry if I sound like a whiney casual...but I really don't have the time to die over and over and over and over, lose souls/xp/progress or whatever.
Seems like so many new games are going this route.
