It's official! After the game was spotted with an Xbox Game Pass banner earlier today, the souls-like adventure Lies of P has now been confirmed for the service. There's no release date other than "2023" though.
If you've never heard of it, Lies of P is an action souls-like game in which you play as Pinocchio (yes, the Pinocchio) as you progress through his "unrelenting journey to become human". The game is set in a "dark Belle Époque world", and features a weapon-making system, special skill system, multiple endings and much more.
Here's a bit more about it:
"Play as Pinocchio, a puppet mechanoid, and fight through everything in your path to find this mystery person. But don't expect any help along the way and don't make the mistake of trusting anyone. You must always lie to others if you hope to become human."
You can check out the new trailer above!
Looking forward to Lies of P on Game Pass? Let us know down in the comments below.

If it has difficulty settings then il give it a try, if not then it's a pass.
Already have steel rising out in a few weeks which looks identical
This game is only confirmed for PC, right?
I hope it comes to Xbox too, because it looks great.
@SplooshDmg Great, thanks for the info
I haven’t seen any news article mentioning this game releasing on anything other than PC so I just assumed that no console versions had been announced.
Anytime a game says "Souls Like" loses all my interest no matter how killer or badass it looks or plays...
I pretty much just gloss over "souls like" anything. The real thing is bad enough, I don't need cheap clones. But in this case, I have to say the combat looks totally jank next to From, but the premise actually looks to have a plot that makes actual sense....unlike From......
