We've been waiting a long time for a Sonic Frontiers release date, and now we've finally got one! The game officially arrives for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 8th, 2022.

I have been very skeptical regarding Frontiers. The announcement trailer had me thinking it looked pretty, but it was one big empty open world. This trailer fills me some confidence, but I think if Sega released a demo, it would help make other peoples minds up. Saying that, my 4 year old is OBSESSED with Sonic at the moment, so I don't think I'll have a choice in picking this one up 🤣
@Kaloudz I also love Sonic and Sonic Forces is the most boring and shallow thing he's ever done. For a level design as simple as an aisle, there are a few spots with broken control and cheap deaths like on the roofs near the end. I hope this one is much better.
@Kaloudz No idea. The only thing that worries me about Sonic Frontiers is that it didn't look like Sonic at first. They showed some parts including Sonic themes, lately. The most important thing about Sonic is not the speed but the carefully crafted graphics and music, the animals, the robots and the level design. Sonic Frontiers looked like a "explore this realistic world with random enemies that you climb and home attack" and I hope that the final game is a real Sonic game, like Sonic Generations.
@Kaloudz If it has the Sonic themes, gameplay, enemies, music, etc., it might be a great Sonic game and I'll be there day one. Otherwise, I'll wait for a sale like with Sonic Forces 😂.
