Today's Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 event brought us a few new Xbox Game Pass reveals in the form of a short blink-and-you'll-miss-it PC Game Pass trailer about halfway through the show. We think there were three games included in this batch that have never been mentioned for Game Pass before, so we've rounded them up!
The first of these is GRID Legends, which joins EA Play (and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) for definite on September 1st. Indie game You Suck at Parking is also now confirmed for PC Game Pass at the very least (although we'd expect it to arrive on Xbox consoles as well), and the same goes for the 2021 multiplayer game Mad Streets.
Plus, don't forget that Lies of P was also confirmed for Game Pass during the show separately, and Xbox's Major Nelson has since confirmed that Hardspace Shipbreaker will be coming to the console version of Game Pass in September!
So, let's take a look at each of these games in turn:
GRID Legends (September 1, 2022)
GRID Legends delivers thrilling wheel-to-wheel motorsport action. Create dream race events, hop into live races, experience a dramatic virtual production story, and embrace the sensation of spectacular racing.
Hardspace Shipbreaker (September 20, 2022)
Experience the daily life of a working-class spaceship salvager in Hardspace: Shipbreaker, where each shift brings the opportunities for big profits but even bigger risks, depending on your reflexes and skill. Experience the excitement of living, dying, and repeating the cycle while contending with next-gen physics and demolition effects set in a realistic industrial sci-fi future in the game’s story mode, or sit back, relax, and get lost practicing your salvaging skills in Free Play.
Lies Of P (2023)
Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action souls-like game set in a dark Belle Époque world. Guide Pinocchio on his unrelenting journey to become human.
Mad Streets (TBD)
Mad Streets is a hilarious multiplayer party game with an emphasis on brutal yet comical fist fighting throughout a multitude of modes, local and online, where players battle it out in wild physics driven chaos to determine who is the baddest player in town!
You Suck At Parking (TBD)
You Suck at Parking™ is the only racing game where your goal is to stop. Colorful yet uphill, challenge the world, and customize your ride in this ever-evolving parking simulator.

Grid Legends! Held off on buying this for a while fully expecting it to come to Game Pass via EA Play. Just need to finish Two Point Campus before the 1st September now....
@pip_muzz
Was SO disappointed with Grid Legends... there's a great game buried in the somewhere; but...
Whilst I was initially enthusiastic about the game, more and more I encountered frame rate drops that were so bad they were game breaking (and that was on Series X).
If they've fixed that, then there is definitely some fun to be had with the game.
If you've got a gamepass sub, then you've got nothing to lose by trying it... but I was pretty ticked off at getting my fingers burned by buying it at full price and getting a game which was sometimes unplayable... a lesson learned!
Pc gamepass getting a lot of love lately.
Found it interesting that theyre releasing dark side now before it's gamepass release...you'd figure the deal would be for day 1 on both platforms?
Yep I'm looking forward to all of these apart from maybe Mad Sreets
Both Grid and Grid legends are both very decent games that were ignored for whatever reason. I’ve had a load of fun especially with legends. I’ve not done the story mode yet but the career is loads of fun.
@antstephenson I also bought Legends at launch and it constantly crashed. But it’s been much improved since then and I no longer have any major issues. I really like the game in its current state!
I liked the grid legends trial through ea play but really couldn’t imagine buying another racing game. now that it will be on game pass I’ll be using it to get in race mode waiting for FM.
Was holding out for this to get cheaper. Then it was free for PC on Prime Day. Now it’s on GamePass. Dope.

Good to hear there's been some improvements... might re-download sometime and give it a second look 👍
Lies of P looks promising, love the setting
Wonder if Shipbreaker will be cross-save with PC Game Pass version (it's always difficult to figure out!) - Love it, but would rather not start from scratch again
I was already interested in Lies of P. Coming Day One to Game Pass sure was a nice surprise.
I'm down for Lies of P...so long as it isn't as punishing as a Dark Souls game
Definitely Shipbreaker - that looks amazing and I'm so happy it's coming to consoles!
Funnily enough, xbox fans FORGET MS paid for the dlc of Grand Theft Auto 4 to be exclusive for the Xbox version. Not sure if it were both of the dlc or one. But it's the same thing. Funny how that works. And yes I have a series s before the tells day I hate Xbox. Funny how that works as well.
