Techland finally delivered some juicy details for its first major Dying Light 2 expansion last night, at Gamescom 2022. 'Bloody Ties' will introduce a whole new location for players to explore, and it looks quite a bit different to the main game's locale.
'The Carnage Hall' will be the basis of the story DLC; the "epicentre of death, wealth and absolute splendour". Here's a bit more about the Bloody Ties DLC, straight from the team:
"In Bloody Ties, players will embark on a new story adventure, you will reach the epicentre of death, wealth and absolute splendour in a stunning location; The Carnage Hall. This old opera building is full of challenges and quests, surprising new weapon types, character interactions, and discoveries to uncover."
The expansion arrives for Techland's zombie adventure just ahead of Halloween season, on October 13th 2022.

This sounds pretty good! I thought at first it was going to be some kind of horde mode add on. Looking forward to it.
@TheGrimOne I have serious concerns with this, I suspect it is a kind of horde mode just in one small location/arena.
To me It sounds just like Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot DLC for borderlands...and most people hated that and thought it was a super lazy addition when compared to the other much larger sotry based content. I hope I'm wrong though.
@Chuffer I really hope this isn't the case but I reckon you're more than likely right. I don't understand why games like Borderlands do such lazy DLC when they can put up such massive base games.
