Update (Wed 27th Jul, 2022): Today's the day! If you're interested in Path of Titans, it's now available in Game Preview form on Xbox, with a Founder's Pack and a Deluxe Founder's Pack available to purchase.
Better yet, there's also a free trial you can check out right now, which we presume gives you about an hour of access to the game before it locks you out. Just head to the standard Path of Titans game page and look for the 'Free Trial' option.
- Path Of Titans Free Trial (Xbox Store Link)
- Path of Titans Founder's Pack - £24.99 / $29.99
- Path of Titans Deluxe Founder's Pack £49.99 / $59.99
Original story (Sun 24th Jul, 2022): Amongst the selection of games arriving on Xbox next week, Path of Titans has sneaked its way into the pack, which is described as a dinosaur MMO survival title. It's launching on Xbox in Open Beta form on Wednesday, July 27th.
It sounds pretty feature-packed, too, featuring a "giant, detailed environment" in which you can complete objectives either alone or in a group, unique combat abilities and a growth-based levelling system, a complex questing system and much more. Plus, it's advertising AI creatures and support for up to 200 players on a server concurrently, although the description for the Xbox and PlayStation versions only mentions 100-player servers.
Here are just a few details about what you can expect:
"Survive as a dinosaur in an ecosystem filled with AI creatures and up to 200 other players. Explore a giant, detailed environment and complete objectives on your own or with members of your pack.
Find water, forage for edible plants, and hunt prey in order to avoid death. But that’s just the beginning. Partake in realistic, environment driven quests in order to gain points to put towards improving your character and unlocking skins or new dinosaurs."
We're liking the look of this one so far! Keep an eye out next week for the Xbox Beta on Wednesday.

Alright Alright Allllright! Is this going to just pop up in the Xbox Insiders program app?
Interesting. Been playing some Ark recently. Might have to check this out.
Kinda disappointing they look Jurassic Park style and not more scientifically accurate.
@pspooky LOL you do realise that "science" is just making it up too, right? I mean it is fine if you prefer one art style to another but it is all just guesses and artistic renderings. Based on the cave drawings it seems they have some of the basic shapes correct but let's not pretend science knows more than it does.
Got to try it out. Super disappointed the trial is only 60 minutes. Expected 10 hours.
After being forced to make a separate account for the game, had time enough to make a dino, do 3 quests, and it was over. Didn't have the opportunity to try out any of the social aspects.
Had fun with what little I could do, but not enough time with it for me to know if it is worth buying.
