It's a big one today folks! Ubisoft is bringing Far Cry 5 to Xbox Game Pass today, July 1st, as the very first addition of the month. We don't know a whole lot about the rest of the month just yet, but five more titles are also confirmed for July, along with today's addition of Far Cry 5.
Ubisoft's sprawling open world shooter is the latest title from the publisher to come to Game Pass, after Assassin's Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition have arrived over the last month or so.
Far Cry 5 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Welcome to Hope County, Montana. When your arrival incites the cult to violently seize control of the region, you must rise up and spark the fires of resistance to liberate a besieged community.

@BBB struggling to feel the hype around this also. Got it on PlayStation and bounced right off it. You can pick it up preowned for about £5-10 physical, it’s a last gen game, two games back in the Far Cry series. Just isn’t that big of a win for Gamepass in my eyes 🤷♂️
@BBB Agreed. Bear in mind Far Cry 3 ranks up there as possibly one of my favourite games ever, I enjoyed it from start to finish, this one, I just couldn't get into at all and stopped playing after a few hours.
I kind of wish it had been any other Far Cry added to GamePass
