Xbox Corporate Vice President Sarah Bond made an appearance at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 yesterday, but she was also in attendance in LA at the Xbox FanFest with Phil Spencer and others.
During the FanFest, Bond revealed that she had her greatest moment of her career in games so far, as she was able to give a shout out to her dad while on stage at the event, tearing up in the process:
"The greatest moment of my career in games … getting the chance to give a shout out to my Dad at Fanfest in LA. Thank you @petersark for capturing this moment, it will be with me forever."
Like Phil Spencer and Aaron Greenberg, Sarah also took the time to thank the fans for their support last night, stating that "you are what makes Xbox possible".
Here's a bit more of what she had to say about her special moment yesterday:

Great moment indeed, Xbox has some awesome people in charge!
I get the feeling Sarah Bond will take over Phil Spencers position as and when he decides to retire or re arrange his infamous bookshelf.
Lovely moment. Hit me in the feels.
Sarah has never been the charismatic visionary Phil is and I had my doubts if she was to be the successor, but I get the sense they've been working on her personability and she seemed very likable this year, vs. kind of cold, and corporate from the Doug Bowser/Andrew Wilson/Jim Ryan school of gaming leadership when we've seen her in the past. I'm definitely less worried if she's the eventual successor now. One doesn't need to be relatable or likable to run a billion dollar games company, but right now that's XB's ace in the hole vs the cold and corporate Nintendo and Sony, so I'm hoping they can stick with that, and if it's Sarah after Phil, hopefully she can fill that PR spot as "everybody's CEO friend of a gaming company" that Phil, Iwata, (and while not a CEO, Layden) have been.
@NEStalgia ...and Reggie!
