You may remember that back in December of last year, Xbox released a six-part documentary on YouTube to celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary, and it's just been rewarded with none other than a Daytime Emmy!
Power On: The Story of Xbox was the victor in the "Outstanding Single Camera Editing" category:
If you haven't watched it yet, the documentary is a fascinating look back at the history of the brand, and also features some very interesting segments such as a look at the infamous banned advert from the UK from the early 2000s, and an interview with former Xbox head Don Mattrick about the failures of the Xbox One launch in 2013.
We thoroughly enjoyed watching it last year, and it's nice to see the documentary getting rewarded like this!

I really enjoyed this documentary, surprisingly engaging and interesting.
This was a really cool documentary. Glad it’s been recognised
There was a lot of interesting information in that documentary that I never knew. I was glad they did it. Congratulations Xbox on your Emmy award.
I didn't watch it because bill gates is in it
A brilliant documentary. Though it was going to be a bit long at 4ish hours but enjoyed all of it. Especially loved that they didn't shy away from the bad things; MS culture at the time, RROD, XBO etc. that was refreshing.
'Outstanding Single Camera Editing' is not something that massively attracts me to view. I do want to watch, but got to find a good chunk of time when no one else wants to watch tv, because let's face it, this is pretty niche...
I watched out of casual curiosity and got legit misty eyed at the end. Hats off.
