You may recall that Xbox gave Don't Nod's narrative adventure Tell Me Why away for free last year to celebrate Pride Month, and that's exactly what's happening again this year, with the game once again available to claim for free.
All you need to do is head to the official Tell Me Why game page on the Microsoft Store (either on console or PC), locate the "Get - Free" option, and then select it to permanently add Tell Me Why to your library of Xbox games.
You've got from today until June 30th to claim Tell Me Why for free, after which it'll revert to full price.
Back in 2020, Xbox's General Manager of Publishing had very positive things to say about Tell Me Why, enthusing that "we’re so proud of this game", and encouraging fans to speak up if they wanted to see more stories like it.
Will you be claiming Tell Me Why for free on Xbox? Tell us down in the comments section below.

Never made it off the opening boat portion as that was like an hour boat ride
Slow start but once it got going was a great heartfelt game, quite emotional storytelling too
Cool, I haven't played it yet.
It’s really good. One of the first games I beat on my series X. The childrens book in the game is fantastic. Lots of Easter eggs and collectibles that actually complete the story.
I really liked this game made by the life is strange studio
Picked this one up for free last June, Great game
Not for everyone, but I loved this game. Needless to say, if you dislike "walking simulator" branching narrative games with zero combat, you wont be having fun for this one.
Your choices in this game can really result in four drastically different endings, with my only con being that only one feels like the real ending to me. But maybe this is just because of how I related to the characters.
Played this last year. Thought it was a pretty good game. I’ll claim the game just to have it for free. Might replay it one day taking different decisions the second time through.
It's getting close. I always said they would have to pay me to play this game.
Ain't nothing but a heartache...
The game maybe free but my time isn't, I rather play halo infinity or others gamepass titles rather than this.
Bought the life is strange series for my eldest daughter, she loves that sort of games, she has yet to finish them, and then I would have bought Tell Me Why or Life is Strange True Colors, but thanks to this tip! and gamepass, don't have to pay for either, maybe if she doesn't finish true colors in time, but we'll see by then
