Announced as part of the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, Overwatch 2 is coming to Xbox (and other platforms) on October 4th, 2022, and this time it'll be launching as a free-to-play title!

Overwatch 2’s release will be the franchise’s most significant since its debut, starting with a new competitive multiplayer experience, heroes, maps, and more with a new, free-to-play structure.
