Now, this is one you don't see often. Dying Light developer Techland β who's still updating the first game beyond Dying Light 2's release β is giving away a load of premium DLC. Owners of Dying Light who never picked up any DLC will now be upgraded to the game's 'Enhanced Edition'.
This edition includes 'The Following'; a major add-on for Dying Light that bridges the gap between the first game and its sequel, Dying Light 2. The Following features an entirely different map to the base game and is a meaty add-on to say the least.
This DLC giveaway also extends to some smaller bits of add-on content. A collection of smaller mission packs, survivor bundles and skins are up for grabs too, with a new game mode tucked in there for good measure.
How do you claim these DLC packs you say? It's a simple process, and all you have to do is own the base game to pick up these add-ons. Here's how:
- Launch Dying Light
- Navigate to 'DLC Packs' from the main menu
- All of the Enhanced Edition content should now be free to download
This is a seriously generous offer and to be honest, we can't recall such substantial paid DLC being made free after launch! We'll certainly be dipping into The Following soon, as we never got around to that one after Dying Light dropped.
Will you be picking this DLC up? Let us know in the comments below!

That's fantastically generous. I hope that leads to more sales of DL1 & DL2 as a result. Goodwill often goes in circles.
Super nice, bought the platinum edition last december I think, and that was very cheap for what I got.... hope all goes well for Techland.
They also said that 60fps are coming in the patch for Series S
Has anyone been able to claim the DLC? Itβs all still showing full price for me. PSN shows it free but not on Xbox.
