It can't be labelled E3 season in this day and age until Geoff Keighley shows up, claiming showcases left, right and centre. Well, that time is now, as the Game Awards host has revealed the date and time of their big summer showcase.
The Summer Game Fest Showcase takes place June 9th, 2022 at 11am PT / 2pm EST / 7pm BST. The show is set to feature game announcements, reveals, and 'Day of the Devs', which we're assuming is a segment dedicated to the teams behind the announcements.
What's also pretty neat is that in the US, UK and Canada, the showcase will be shown in select IMAX theatres. So, if you want to experience that 'live' press conference atmosphere, going to your local cinema to watch it could be a great shout.
Keighley also says that "lots of events [are] coming in June" so we're expecting more to crop up in the Summer Game Fest schedule. For now, The Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, along with the Tribeca Games Spotlight show up on the site's calendar.
Are you looking forward to Keighley's big summer show? Let us know down in the comments!

Newegg has the 1TB memory card for $190+tax
Day of the Devs is a showcase dedicated to indie games, featured games like Axiom Verge 2 and Toem last year.
It should forever be called E3 season just to rub Khieghly the wrong way for eternity. He can say he's here for the industry all he wants, he's shown he's chasing that cash first and foremost.
FF7 Remake for Xbox please.
Can we have this, but with less Keighley? Every time that duck-haired poo-eating grinning parasite attaches himself to the industry, I feel like I should take up knitting instead.
@NEStalgia if we can have the Xbox showcase without Todd Howard & Phil Spencer
@Would_you_kindly Phil and Todd aren't repulsive like Geoff..... But..... Id be willing to make the trade. It's worth it.
I hope that Microsoft shows new Splinter Cell.
@NEStalgia I don't like any of em lol
