Microsoft has revealed the next set of games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in the latter part of May, including some major departures such as Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Superhot: Mind Control Delete.
In regards to Knockout City, that game is going free-to-play soon, hence its removal.
Update: An official announcement from Microsoft has bumped this initial list from three games to seven games, and we've included all of them in the table below.
Here's the full list (so far) of games currently set to leave in the latter part of May:
Date | Game | Platform |
May 31st | EA Sports NHL 20 | Console |
May 31st | Farming Simulator 19 | Console, PC, Cloud |
May 31st | Knockout City | Console, PC |
May 31st | Resident Evil 7: Biohazard | Console, PC, Cloud |
May 31st | Spellforce 3: Soul Harvest | PC |
May 31st | Superhot: Mind Control Delete | Console, PC, Cloud |
May 31st | Yes, Your Grace | Console, PC, Cloud |
As always, Xbox Game Pass members can get a discount of (at least) 20% on these titles before they're removed.

Oof, those are good titles, shame to see them leaving.
I guess that’s a real benefit for Sony marketing 3rd party games…they get to block them coming onto gamepass? I guess next month we’ll see how many up coming AAA games sony are marketing…what it means for gamepass and what it means for their premium subscriptions
Just wondering if that guy might have insider information and thus whether village is right round the corner
Imagine if Xbox paid to keep games off PS Plus… and with their unlimited funds as well - there would be nothing on the service. Let’s see if it comes to that but I feel like it wont.
I get that it was part of the deal for promoting the game but it must have factored in financially.
Would like to see Village added despite me not ever finishing VII.
Isn’t Knockout City going F2P? Think that’s why it’s leaving.
I keep waiting for Outriders to get removed. They seemed so unhappy with the expansion coming out.
Is it me or GP is loosing some traction?
very few of the new games coming out interest me and there's a bunch of great games leaving pretty much every week.
Perhaps i've been spoiled i dunno
@fabisputza007 It's you. This is a slow time of year all around for gaming. Lot's of games are being held tightly until "E3" next month.
@awp69 yeah I thought this was the case too!

@Foxx_64740 Pretty sure that was added after we posted our comments. Either way, no biggie.
Maybe I should finally get around to a RE7 playthrough, at least least just download it and give it a go before it's gone. Horror games aren't my thing but I've heard great things.
@uptownsoul i’m aware of that - I mean the subscription service. If they both keep at it, both services would be empty (except first party)!
Would anyone recommend Superhot MCD? Iterative or innovative? I liked the original but I also felt satisfied with what it had to offer.
farming simulator 19 leaving as farming simulator 22 is being added and NHL 20 is being removed as NHL 22 has been added
My least favourite posts (but much appreciated anyway) always open each one with a sense of trepidation. Superhot Mind Control Delete is the only one I wanted to and haven't got round to. I'll take that!
@awp69 I hope so. I really enjoy that game.
@Jarobusa Looks like Free to Play June 1
