Research and Destroy arrived on Xbox Game Pass this week, and it's proving a bit of a sleeper hit with players so far. While 7 Days To Die hasn't landed quite as well — probably because the Xbox version hasn't been updated since 2017 — Research and Destroy's launch is surprising folks so far!

As for what the game actually is, it's quite hard to nail down a description for it. It's a colourful third-person shooter with turn-based elements, sort of like XCOM meets Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. Anyway, here's how it's going down with fans so far:

We've yet to give Research and Destroy a whirl yet, but we just might after seeing it in action. That is, if we can get through the countless other Game Pass titles we're tripping over!
