Bandai Namco has just dropped all the details on Elden Ring update 1.04.1, the game's latest hotfix. This one focuses on bug fixes most of all, and is certainly less substantial than the game's main 1.04 update.
Even so, this latest patch does fix a few notable issues and should provide players with a slightly smoother Elden Ring experience. Here are the full notes:
Major Changes Included in the Latest Update
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug in which the effect duration of the Cerulean Hidden Tear was revised downward
- Fixed a bug with Malenia, Blade of Miquella in which her HP was not healed correctly in the online multiplayer environment
- Fixed a bug that caused some bosses to die at unintended times
- Fixed a bug that prevented the boss "Elden Beast" from working properly under certain circumstances
- Fixed some texts
So, yeah, not a huge one but some important fixes have been implemented. We have to say though, we wish we'd come across bosses dying at unintended times, it might have made the game a little easier...

So, no more breaking Elden Beast AI with summons I guess? Speedrunners aren't going to be happy with this lol, it's a good change nonetheless
@Zucaritas , speedrunners , insane , not a souls person, bought dark souls in the day, but barely touched it, bought Elden Ring, loving it to my surprise but it will take me years to finish this game, very time constraint work/family sometime s gaming , still got like 40 hours into it.... tough as nails sometimes, but great game nonetheless
@TheSilverFalcon yeah, some bosses were hard and the initial learning curve was steep but after that it gets easier, my first souls game and i finished it in 50 hours and 10 hours more for all the optional bosses, really enjoyed my time with it
