Update: How about a few more?! Here's another fresh set of leaked images (still from a few years ago):
Original story: Although Starfield is arriving later this year, Bethesda still hasn't really shown all that much of it in the lead up the release.
While we're expecting to get additional details and footage before then, right now there are also some screenshots doing the rounds online, that are supposedly from an early 2018 build of the game.
Courtesy of DSOGaming, here's a look at one of the leaked images (with the rest available on Reddit):
They showcase what appears to be a space station, a character on the outside of a building and some sort of windows. It's definitely worth a look if you are hungry for some more footage of the game.
Keep in mind, this is an earlier build and things have likely been updated a lot since then.
What do you think of these shots? Excited for Starfield coming to Xbox? Leave a comment down below.

I saw these leaked screenshots last year.
Honestly wish Bethesda would just show us something at this point… or that Xbox would just prove to us that it actually has a big exclusive release to show off this year at all, really.
What will happen is they will make us wait until June 2022 to show something.
Then once shown it will leave us with more worry and doubt about the game/product than ever before.
You wait and see.
Guys, we'll find out more at E3, I'm sure!Looks like Starfield will do what Star Citizen tries to
(except Multiplayer)
No Man's Sky update looks pretty dope!
@AFCC No Man's Skyrim
@BBB - yep totally agree and it’s a bit worrying considering the game is supposed to be out this year. Hopefully there will be some actual gameplay shown in the coming months, and it looks a lot better than that lol. The screenshots do have a whiff of elite dangerous odyssey about them, running on a pc from 8 years ago. I’m also hoping that Bethesda have also improved their pudding face animation from their other titles 😊
These leaks really don't give us any ideas about the gameplay, so I find myself not paying them much mind.
@Killercrab Bethesda have a lot of form on this. They usually don’t show their games properly till months before release was this way with Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout, 3, 4 & 76.
@Rural-Bandit Anything but Keighley!
What Summer Game Fest/Game Awards needs most, is fog machines, WWE faux-metal music, and an invitation for Will Smith to appear with Geoff.
@nofriendo dude how right were you lmao
@AFCC LOL I did a double take while watching the presentation. Not a very Bethesda move at all. I'm reserving judgment for when I actually get my hands on the game, but Dead Cells is the only decent game with procedural generation, IMO, and I certainly don't like it in my RPGs.
@nofriendo what do you think about the game after the Direct?
@AFCC I must say that Direct has me pretty excited to jump into Starfield. My main concern is will I personally find the gameplay engaging enough to make me want to explore the galaxy they've created. I enjoy No Man's Sky quite a bit, but the whole experience is pretty hollow due to the procedural generation. There needs to be enough "intelligent design" (LOL) in the landscapes and environments for me. I don't project that much imagination onto computer-generated surfaces. I need a strong narrative and genuine discovery. I have enough algorithms in my life and they all leave me cold or creep me out. And pointing a gun at things and shooting just ain't enough to keep me interested. I do have much higher hopes for the game after the Direct, though. How about you?
