Sniper Elite 5 Game Pass

Sniper Elite 5 takes us to World War II era France as we continue to play out Karl Fairburne's story. We've known for a while that this one will hit Xbox Game Pass on day one and, well, the release date has been revealed.

Sniper Elite 5 launches on Xbox One and Series X|S, including Game Pass, on May 26th! That's much closer than we were expecting, given we had no prior release window beyond "2022".

To pair with the release date announcement, developer Rebellion has dug a little deeper into SE5's story. Alongside the new trailer, here's a little bit more on what Sniper Elite 5 is all about, straight from the developer:

Elite marksman Karl Fairburne uncovers a Nazi plot to turn the tide of the Second World War, codenamed Operation Kraken. Karl has to use all of the skills at his disposal to gather intelligence about the plans and make sure they never come to fruition. This will pit him against the scheme’s mastermind, Abelard Möller, an Axis Obergruppenführer, who must be stopped at any cost.

If you prefer to purchase your games outright, the team has also detailed some pre-order bonuses, along with a deluxe edition. The main pre-order bonus is another of the series' infamous Hitler missions, where you'll infiltrate the Berghof, Hitler’s private mountain retreat in the Bavarian Alps. You'll also get a bonus P.1938 Suppressed Pistol.

The Deluxe edition of Sniper Elite 5 will include the game's season pass, which delivers two campaign missions, six weapon packs, two character packs, and two weapon skin packs.
