Xbox had a pretty good 2021. The end of the year may have been dominated by Halo Infinite's launch, but Forza Horizon 5 and Psychonauts 2 were also huge releases last year. Well, those two are now up for six awards each at the upcoming BAFTA award show in April.
Forza Horizon 5 has been nominated for best game, British game, family game, game design, multiplayer game and technical achievement. Psychonauts 2 is up for animation, artistic achievement, technical achievement, music, narrative and 'game beyond entertainment'.
Both games and their respective nominations are thoroughly deserved. Psychonauts 2 really surprised us when it launched last summer, by how inventive, imaginative, and thoughtful it was.
Forza Horizon 5 is another amazing entry in the Forza Horizon series and marks a high point for open world racing games, particularly its depiction of Mexico, which is the most varied Horizon map to date.
If you want to tune in to the BAFTA award show, it takes place April 7th and will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. A specific time for the show hasn't been revealed just yet.
Would you vote for either of these Xbox Game Studios titles? Let us know in the comments.

I would vote for Psychonauts 2 in any award show as it is one of the best games I have ever played.
Loved every minute of it and was my GOTY.
EDIT: Forza 5 is great as well.
Yah! At last Psychonauts 2 is up for something. Definitely one of my top 3 games last year. Improved upon the excellent original in every way and did so without sacrificing what made the first one so great. For me, it's a showcase as to the benefit Xbox can bring to games once they come under the Xbox banner. From what I understand the Psychonauts 2 I played wouldn't have been the same without that additional time and support.
