You might have missed it, but free-to-play dragon multiplayer game Century: Age of Ashes launched on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S last week, and the first impressions from the Xbox community seem to be pretty good.
The game allows you to "customise your dragon, dive into the arena and compete to become a legendary Dragoneer," with online game modes ranging from 3v3 to 6v6 battles, along with purely cosmetic microtransactions.
Here's some of the feedback we've been seeing from the Xbox community on Reddit so far:
If you want to download Century: Age of Ashes and give it a try, it's available right now on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, but the Xbox One version won't be arriving until some point later this year.
You can check out the full trailer above, along with some more Twitter impressions down below:
Compete in intense online games ranging from 3v3 to 6v6 and discover the fast-paced gameplay of Century : Age of Ashes! Dive into the arena alone or with friends and fight for your survival! Three varied game modes await you: Carnage, Spoils of War and Gates of Fire.

I played it yesterday. I was surprised. Controls are intuitive and the graphics hold up quite well.
I was surprised whilst playing it, initially thought I'd play it on pc but the console port ain't bad at all. Graphics, controls it's all there, I would say they could use some more work on sound effects. But hey it's f2p and fun to play to boot.
Thanks for the heads up I'd heard of this when it came out on PC so will give it a go on Xbox for sure.
I am going to check this one out dragons you say mmmm
Just played through the tutorial and initial 3 v 3 match. It’s pretty fun. Dragon combat…this is speaking to my inner 4 year old
I wish the Panzer Dragoon remake looked like this
