Microsoft has unveiled the next set of four games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in the middle part of March 2022, which includes a bunch of popular titles such as Nier: Automata and The Surge 2.
Here's the full list of games currently set to leave on March 15th, 2022:
Date | Game | Platform |
March 15th | Nier: Automata | Console, PC, Cloud |
March 15th | Phogs! | Console, PC, Cloud |
March 15th | Torchlight III | Console, PC, Cloud |
March 15th | The Surge 2 | Console, PC, Cloud |
As always, Xbox Game Pass members can get a discount of (at least) 20% on these titles before they're removed.
Don't forget that more Game Pass titles are on the way soon, including Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy!

Note that you can buy achievements in Nier: Automata via the shop. You gain access by finishing 3 playthroughs. Real handy if you miss the 2 missable achievements.
Not played Torchlight 3 is it any good?
@Royalblues the same for me. It is a shame there is no physical copy on Xbox as I would love to have it on the shelf though
I'll have to try Phogs! then.
@UnusedBabyWipes Or just ones that are a pain to do. The upgrade materials for the pods are so rare, I didn't bother farming them and just bought the achievement. It's a really interesting approach to achievements.
Looks like I'll be focusing on Nier Automata then. Amazing game. If I don't finish it in time I'll just buy it.
@PartyMarty nah, can be ignored
Don't sleep on Surge 2, it's quite good
Man, Nier Automata leaving Gamepass is the biggest loss yet this year for the service. I know that some may be happy with the route Gamepass has been going, but I personally think they’ve cut a lot of good titles this year and have not balanced that with replacements of equal strength. At least Kentucky Route Zero is coming to the service.
aw heck, i need to make some time to try out nier before it goes.
I actually had all 4 games on my "Play Later" list
Kind of sucks they're leaving.
Might have to rethink the gamepass subscription. It's not exactly as good a service as I thought. Too much stuff goes.
