French director Mathieu Turi has announced that he's taking the reins on a TV show, based on A Plague Tale. So far, there's only one Plague Tale game, Innocence, but a sequel is in the works by developer Asobo Studio.
So far, it's unclear whether the show will be a direct re-telling of either game, or a separate story in the Plague Tale universe. We do know that the show will follow the story of Amicia and Hugo, just like Innocence and its upcoming sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem.
A Plague Tale: Innocence launched in 2019, and it featured a captivating story that followed two siblings surviving 14th century France during the Black Death. The game also received a comprehensive Xbox Series X|S port last year.
Its upcoming sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem, will also follow the siblings through similarly rat-infested scenarios. Requiem is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one as well, which is planned to be sometime in 2022.
Did you play the first Plague Tale title? Would you be into it as a TV series? Let us know your thoughts below.

The developers did a great job, but let's be real... The popularity for this game skyrocketed after hitting Game Pass. I think this adaptation makes sense.
