Update: Microsoft has now officially revealed the next batch of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in February 2022, which includes a few more titles than originally expected, but not Cyberpunk 2077 as many had hoped.
Lawn Mowing Simulator was also originally announced as coming to Xbox One this week (following its recent addition for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S), but it's now been delayed until further notice.
We've filled in the table below with all the updated details for Xbox Game Pass this month.
Original story: Guess what? The next batch of Xbox Game Pass titles has leaked early once again! Microsoft will likely unveil this list of titles later today, but Dealabs user billbil-kun has shared what appears to be the full selection already.
We're still in the dark about certain dates and platforms, so we'll need to wait for the formal announcement to fill in the blanks — we'll update this post with all the official details as soon as we can.
Here's what's coming to Xbox Game Pass over the next week-or-so:
Date | Game | Platform |
February 15 | Mass Effect Legendary Edition | Cloud |
February 17 | Madden NFL 22 (EA Play) | Console, PC |
February 17 | Total War: Warhammer III | PC |
February 22 | Roboquest (Game Preview) | PC |
February 24 | Galactic Civilizations III | PC |
February 24 | Super Mega Baseball 3 (EA Play) | Console |
February 28 | Alice: Madness Returns (EA Play) | PC |
TBD (Delayed) | Xbox One |
In addition to these, five games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass between February 28th and March 1st, including the likes of Killer Queen Black and Hypnospace Outlaw — plus the original Titanfall is departing from EA Play.
Which of these upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.

Damn this has not been a good month for Game Pass
Does anyone know when NBA 2k22 is gonna come to gamespass?
@Chaudy Very difficult with 'few' big games releasing and those that are perhaps more interested in Sales than Player Numbers.
I think that the year has started 'quietly' for the industry and whilst some have 'big' games releasing, its not like they all had released 'something' recently too - like MS did with Halo & FH5. Its been a 'while' since Sony had an Exclusive and Dying Light, Elden Ring etc have been 'delayed' too.
Apart from 'older' games, like Hitman trilogy for example, its understandable why 'big day1' games have been a bit 'meh' so far. R6: Extraction and Crossfire are both games that would 'benefit' from a higher player count for their Publishers and perhaps early interest and 'pre-order' numbers had them 'concerned' that their 'online' aspect would fail without a decent player base. Hence willing to negotiate with MS to release into Game Pass too.
Games like DL2, Elden Ring etc probably have high interest and decent 'pre-orders' too so not willing to negotiate with MS and 'lose' sales revenue, lose the ability to 'brag' about best selling games etc.
Therefore it leaves MS and 'Game Pass' with 'little' choice for the past couple of months...
@Skufry I think next month, they added nba last year in march
@Skufry Very difficult to know, 2K isn't very predictable when it comes to Game Pass. I was expecting PGA Tour 2K21 to be added ages ago, but it's still not there yet.
@Chaudy Agreed but I can't believe anyone has completed January's bumper offerings yet!
I'd need a year to play Mass Effect Trilogy, Hitman Trilogy, Death's Door, Nobody Saves the World, Spelunky 2, Danganronpa, The Pedestrian, Windjammers 2... and those are the only the ones I remember, there were more good titles.
Over on PlayStation I didn't play a single ps plus game for 6 months last year. Now that was horrendous.
I will take Gamepass any day. Quite like the idea of another Baseball game, Madden and some weird left field stuff.
Wish my PC could play Total War, other than that, this has probably been the worst month of GP for me for a long time.
Just finished Dreamscaper though and that was fantastic
Roboquest is awesome!!!
Can't wait to try Super Mega Baseball 3.
I was nearly tempted to buy it last week but soon on Ea Play. Result.
Shame Total War WH3not on XBOX though.
And here I was hoping for the Cyberpunk Shadow drop to hit game pass as well lol
Not the greatest list but there's still Goldeneye on the horizon and the intriguing As Dusk Falls was recently rated so that could come as well. With so many of those on PC and via EA Play I can't see that being the full list. 3 games for the next two weeks still leaves me feeling there's more to come.
Super Mega Baseball may seem like shovelware but it's genuinely a great little series.
I think it was so good the indie studio got bought up by EA or something like that.
Super Mega Baseball is actually a phenomenal game. I'll take it over MLB The Show any day. Beneath its cartoonish presentation is a sophisticated baseball sim. If you're at all interested, you're in for a treat!
Roboquest looks cool. i'll try that one.
I suspect they'll be an addition or two to this list.
Super mega baseball is awesome. Customize all the players and teams and leagues. Difficulty is easy to scale to how you want to play.
My crappy notebook can't run a single pixel from Total War: Warhammer III.
Anyway, I like some slow months to catch with some games in the queue.
The first month of GP I am not interested in any game since I subscribed but still lots to play on the wishlist
@BAMozzy ‘ok’
That's.... Awful. Not one console game coming from MS to standard Game Pass subscribers. After the Crossfire X debacle this is probably the services worst month that I can actively remember. (Which says how good it usually is, but this month is pretty poor)
@pip_muzz Why would they drop Cyberpunk for Game Pass before their event today? If it happens, it would obviously be announced then.
They might still drop cyberpunk after the event.
Something tells me there’s going to be at least one or two more surprise drops that they aren’t able to announce just yet. Like Goldeneye perhaps (and of course, Cyberpunk).
@Trmn8r That's a good point well made. And would make my previous comment very stupid!
@Skufry
Was any previous NBA 2K on gamepass? All I saw was NBA Live 19 bec it’s EA sports game
@pip_muzz All good. It may not be coming at this point. We will see I guess once the stream ends. Currently watching it.
@Mchi5 Yes, NBA2k21 for a period, except it was the last gen version sadly. They removed it right before 2k22 released if I recall correctly.
@Chaudy I got flamed for saying about the same the other day lol. It is weird to me how we barely get any new console additions this time around though. I'm glad I got a pc but console only folks basically in the dust.
Barely anything for console...
Hey, atleast we have Lawn Mowing Simulator, righr?
Not a lot for me there after a really good January. I usually give Madden a go but that’s about all I’m likely to play there.
About to jump into Mass Effect for the first time ever now that it's available on the cloud too.
@Trmn8r Sadly it seems the hope has been extinguished. Not coming to Game Pass after all
@Trmn8r
Oh gotcha. Sorry I just got an X and Gamepass a month ago. Good to know.
Titanfall 1 multiplayer maps and game play I found superior to Titanfall 2. The maps on 2 were just not good to me.
Not sure what other people think?
@GuyinPA75 I'm 100% with you on that one, but I think we're in the minority. Loved Titanfall 1, thought TF2's maps weren't great though.
While I ranked Gamepass as a D for the year in another article, I’ve got to say Infernax launched yesterday on the service and I’m absolutely loving the game, so February has redeemed itself a bit in my eyes. Perhaps my favorite 2D indie I’ve played since I played Olija months ago. What a pleasant surprise… although calling a gory pixel art game like it “pleasant” isn’t really the right adjective to use. First game of the year I’ve really enjoyed on Gamepass and the game that has made it possible for me to finally start my rolling top 10 games of the year list!
Now all the positives aside, the listed games here are pitiful.
@somnambulance It's on the lighter side, but I recommend Flynn: Son of Crimson for your retro 2D platforming fix. I've also got my fingers crossed for Astalon arriving on the service.
@nofriendo I’ve got Flynn installed, but haven’t gotten to it yet. I’ll give it a spin.
And to think I almost snapped up Super Mega Baseball 3 on sale recently…
@somnambulance Is Infernax a rougelike?
@fbnaulin Nah, it’s a Metroidvania, but leans a lot heavier on the Vania side of things. It’s very Simon’s Quest, but not nearly as obtuse. I just finished my first playthrough of it, actually. It respects your time a lot more than most Metroidvanias. Gave me that same feeling I had while playing Curse of the Moon 1 and 2. It’s a game that understands its influences very well and fine tunes what it needs to to make a wonderful game. Strongly recommend for Castlevania fans.
Roboquest not coming to Xbox? just PC?... it's already in steam, tried it there, it's still in preview, awesome game already, when this game is fleshed out more , this could, I kid you not, get 90+ metacritic, it's that good!
@TheSilverFalcon It's already been announced for Game Pass on console in the past, so it should just be a matter of time. PC first, Xbox later I assume.
The americans must be happy.
The only 2 console adds are two american sports games.
Thank god elden ring is released....
@FraserG Okay, thanks for the update!
Is Madden 22 as bad as the reviews on the Xbox store male it seem or is that mostly just (understandably) salty fans that buy the game every year?
That Baseball game is a bit of fun btw. It ain't The Show but that's what it's got going for it really. Fun and arcadey.
Disappointing 2nd half of the month, still hoping for a surprise drop or two.
Alice: Madness Returns is absolutely phenomenal, BTW, and just begs for a remake. It's got style to spare and a pitch-perfect atmosphere that transcends the usual console generational gap that keeps me from enjoying older 3D games.
@FraserG dude go to a gamestore and just buy a used copy thats what i did cost me 5$
@MetalGear_Yoshi this years madden cheats!!!!!!! i hate it, every pass over the middle the cpu seems to intercept also it just doesn't feel as good as last years edition and i waited for the gamepass release...so its not cause im salty about buying it or anything.
@Blessed_Koz Oh, that sucks. I read a couple of the fan reviews that say scouting in franchise is broken as well. There was a similar issue in one of the recentish NHL games that was never fixed.
Idk why these sports games are so bad these days. You'd think the fact that they're rehashing the same game time after time would lead to better quality and polish overall. Apparently if it's not a part of the game that sells digital cards it just doesn't get any attention.
