CrossfireX has been suffering some major issues with its campaign on Xbox Game Pass for the past five days, but with the rollout of the game's latest update, it looks like "Operation Catalyst" is finally available on the service.
For those who aren't in the know, CrossfireX contains two single-player campaigns developed by Remedy Entertainment (Control, Alan Wake), and the first one is included with Xbox Game Pass at no extra charge.
We recently had a chance to go hands-on with the entirety of CrossfireX "Operation Catalyst", and found it to be quite reminiscent of the old Call of Duty campaigns from the Xbox 360 era, albeit with a unique Remedy flavour to it.
Give it a download on Game Pass, and let us know how you get on with it down in the comments below.

Still going to give the campaign a shot before horizon on Friday cant be any worse than the multiplayer.
How did they finally pull off this miracle actually getting it to work on game pass
Even for 'free' with Game Pass, I don't think I'll bother to waste my 'gaming' time trying a bland and generic FPS campaign when I have access to so many 'great' games to play.
Subscription services, like Game Pass, should make 'devs' push themselves much harder because they can't rely on overhyped marketing to push up pre-order sales and going to have to rely on 'great' games to compete for your time.
Who's going to waste their 'valuable' time playing 'bad' games when you have access to lots of Great games from over 20yrs of history all competing for your time!
So is there any credence to the talk of these guys shifting all their focus to the Google/Amazon game that just launched vs. this? Did Xbox even publish this...i think they were supposed to. Did things go sideways during development and that's why Xbox hasn't been advertising the game past the bare minimum of coming to gamepass?
Cyberpunk and Crossfire X all in one week. We truly don't deserve this.
Too late! We're all playing Cyberpunk 2077 now
