Although Bethesda is busy preparing for the release of Starfield later this year, it's still got plans for its online action role-playing game, Fallout 76.
To highlight what's ahead for 2022, it's released a new roadmap. Below is the full breakdown of each season:
Spring:
Appalachia is besieged by otherworldly forces in Invaders From Beyond, featuring all-new Public Events and even random encounters (of a third kind) as you fend off the alien threat with your teammates. Spring will also see a Fallout Worlds update adding the ability to earn SCORE, plus the release of Season 8: A Better Life Underground!
Summer:
Don your best armor, weapons and Perk Cards and step into battle! New Public Events arrive in Appalachia, including Test Your Metal – featuring arena fights against deadly automatons! This summer also includes upgrades to Fallout 1st scoreboard progression and a new Season.
Fall:
Go beyond Appalachia’s borders in Expeditions: The Pitt! Visit post-nuclear Pittsburgh and take on new Missions , engage with new NPCs, battle new foes and of course, earn new rewards . In addition to The Pitt, players can also look forward to a new Season to boot!
Winter:
The Fizziest Show on Earth comes to Appalachia! Nuka World on Tour introduces a traveling roadshow making a stop in the area, toting along a new Season, Public Events and region boss! Step on up, you won’t want to miss out on the fun.
If you're curious to try out Fallout 76 and haven't yet - it's available on Xbox Game Pass. Will you be joining in on the fun this year, or are you holding out for Starfield? Leave a comment down below.

I’ve been meaning to put some time into this. I’ve liked it so far. ESO and Sea of Thieves are my
main live games so it’s difficult fitting it in the rotation.
im sorry but ive actually quite enjoyed fallout 76 probably more than fallout 4. its more about exploring
"Lies ahead" is right...
I should get back to this game at some point.
Would be great to have a 2022 updated review on that game! Apparently, it got a LOT better...but I would still love to read your take on it folks
My feeling with fallout 76 is messy - - I purchased the power armor edition. Guess could stop there. Or stop with Todd Howard is just a slime ball, snake oil salesman. But there is more.
Overall I've enjoyed the game. Even spent the insane amount of hours to fully complete all the seasons until this present one. And that is where problem is for me now.
Would like just to pick up and play now and again but not being able finish the season would just bother me. And the seasons are just INCREDIBLY long, INCREDIBLY tedious, INCREDIBLY time consuming. They really need to rework the seasons to make it easier, faster to complete.
After work, when get home, I have 2 hours before go to sleep. To complete a season you are looking at least 100+ hours. That is just too much. Way too much. Not have that kinda time any more.
Lot of people like seasons. But for me they are complete turnoff. Especially in today's gaming environment with far too games to play and no where even close to amount time needed.
Elder scrolls online and warframe know this. They get it. To earn their rewards just simply have sign in. Done. That's great! Love it!
Seasons in games just push me away, far, far, away. Probably many others as well.
Do they still have that stupid fallout 1st subscription
