There's been a lot of chatter these last few days about Halo server closures. 343 Industries officially closed down the Halo 3, Halo: Reach and Halo 4 servers yesterday, January 13th. Or did they?
Some Halo players have discovered that by accessing the demo for Halo: Reach, you can still get online. Unless you happen to have the Halo: Reach demo installed from over 10 years ago though, you'll need to do a bit of messing to get it installed.
It's not too tricky though. If you have your Xbox 360 hooked up, you can find a DRM-free demo file online, and play it via USB on your console.
Of course, it's going to be tough to find matches without prior organising, but this is still very cool! Hopefully 343 miss this one, and an Xbox 360 version of Halo: Reach lives on, however weird it may be.
Did you play some Halo: Reach before the official servers closed? Let us know below.

You probably shouldn't have posted this because now if any 343 members happen to browse this site, they will close that down. Just let secrets be secrets.
