The Xbox Game Pass team caused a big fuss yesterday when they teased that "things are going to get a bit...orange this week", and it seems we've discovered what they were talking about - a new Perk for Crunchyroll Premium.
Starting today, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can get 75 days of Crunchyroll Premium: Mega Fan for free, allowing you to enjoy the likes of “One Piece,” “My Hero Academia,” “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" and much more.
There is a catch, of course, and it's that you must be a new Crunchyroll Premium subscriber to take advantage of this offer. It can be claimed via the Game Pass Perks gallery on console, PC, or via the Xbox Game Pass mobile app, after which you'll be directed to the Crunchyroll website to activate your subscription.
Note: Not available in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong SAR.
"From all of us at Team Xbox, we hope that you enjoy access to Crunchyroll Premium through the Perks program this holiday. We look forward to sharing more new games and Perks available with Xbox Game Pass soon — stay tuned for what’s next!"
Happy with this? Will you be claiming your free 75 days of Crunchyroll Premium? Let us know below.

Another day, another Game Pass perk 🙂 great for anime fans. I'll pass.
For anyone new to crunchyroll I strongly reccomend you start with Demon Slayer
But don't buy the game...
@UltimateOtaku91 that bad huh?
Orange Box would have been cool too 😕
@mousieone yes lol it is pretty much very bare bones, most of the character roster is the same three characters just in a different outfit and a character that wasn't a major character or even involved in the story no longer than 5 minutes. And the actual campaign is very basic and short and outside of the campaign all you have is a versus mode. Art style is beautiful though but definitely wouldn't reccomend unless it's £15
@mousieone Game was great if you watched the show and like the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. I bought it day one and beat the heck out of it already. Its super fun and lots of replay value.
@UltimateOtaku91 Actually all of the characters that have alternate costumes, also come with a separate move set and Ultimate Attack move. So there is a difference.
@uptownsoul just slightly?
I would have expected this to show up on PS Plus before Gamepass but this is great. I've been trying some anime so this is a good excuse to try some more!
I was hoping Sony would just merge Funimation and Crunchyroll but I'll take this freebie. Thanks, MS.
@WCB they most likely are but mergers take time. Also they might have renegotiate streaming rights for they name change right away.
@UltimateOtaku91 it is so good! (Anime as I did not even know there was a game)
@mousieone true. AnimeLab and Funimation have just fully merged not that long ago. Crunchyroll is most likely more involved.
Ok for someone I guess?
