The Xbox 20th Anniversary event kicked off today with Microsoft straight-up announcing a six part, in-depth documentary that dives into the making of their very first video game console and beyond.

Power On features interviews with lots of the leading figures involved in the original Xbox's creation and, from what was shown at the 20th Anniversary event, we can look forward to a deep dive that goes behind the scenes and reveals the "chaos" involved in bringing the original machine to life and convincing the money men at Microsoft that this idea could succeed.

With an Emmy-Award winning team involved in the process and the likes of Gears of War, Forza, Halo and more all flashing up in the montage we were shown, this is sure to be a must-watch bit of telly for Xbox fans when it releases on a variety of video-streaming services including YouTube on December 13th this year.
