Back in August, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice got a surprise upgrade for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S - adding "enriched visuals, DirectX Raytracing, resolution mode" and more.
Now, in another update, developer Ninja Theory has announced it's made some accessibility improvements on Xbox Series X|S and PC to allow more players to experience Senua's journey. This includes full controller remapping, subtitle customisation, a mono sound option and colour blindness settings.
This has been rolled out alongside the new free PC update, which added the visual enhancements introduced in the Xbox Series X|S version of the game earlier this year.
As of August this year, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been played by more than 6.3 million players across all platforms.
Have you tried out this game on Xbox Series X|S yet? How about the upgrade? Comment below.

I'll give this one another playthrough just before the sequel releases. It was one of the first games I tried out a year ago on the Series X and loved it. It will be nice to go back through with enhanced visuals and good headphones.
Please 60fps with RT
Nice work. Always great to see dev's enabling more players, even this late in the lifecycle. I assume some of those are learnings for Hellblade 2. Smart! Two birds one stone.
EDIT: also missed the 60fps + RT patch. Makes me more likely to replay honestly. Great game. Headphones are a MUST!!!
