Sigh. Haven is on my 'play later' list. Might have to at least boot it up before it's gone.
Football manager was a brief window
@Stocksy This is last year's one, they're just removing it because it's been replaced by the 2022 version.
@gollumb82 Eek! Half way through Haven. Was really enjoying it but fell off for some reason. Will try and finish this weekend.
Very unique game, probably the closest i've ever felt like being in an actual relationship in a game. And the gameplay outside that was enjoyable enough. Worth a shot if you feel you have time. It's 10-15hrs according to HLTB.
Call of the Sea is a short 5ish hour game that's well worth it for anyone interested
I beat Haven a long time ago. Enjoyed the game. The music and just hovering around is pretty chill.
Gotta get call of the sea going as I've been looking at playing it for a long time now.... luckily I don't have Halo games to beat in preparation for Infinite...or Forza...or the rest of the backlog...sigh
Call of the sea is an excellent puzzle game, cool story too. I will admit that I had to use a guide for a couple of puzzles though due to missing something along the way. Highly recommend it.
@FraserG doh! Fair dues I thought it was strange. Haha. I had to check what year it was. I should be used to that by now
I had Haven in list to play it with my fiancee, but Yoshi's Crafted World and then, It Takes Two got in the way.
@themightyant
Thanks for the input on Haven. It does seem chill and I've almost finished Omno (a chill game as well with a beautiful soundtrack and artstyle). Gonna have to put GTA 4 away for some time to try it then.
Destiny leaves, Halo enters. Seems almost too fitting
Very disappointing the service will be losing Destiny 2. I became really hooked on the game with the release of Beyond Light. I'll buy the bundle when Witch Queen releases., all my gaming time is reserved for Halo and Horizon 5 these days.
Darn I've been meaning to play Call of the Sea for a while now
@SpaceSamurai It's like it's destiny.
@PhileasFragg It's very short (around 5 hours) you probably have time. It's worth it imo.
A lot of people saying that Halo is replacing Destiny 2, but for us non PVP folk, while Halo’s single player is a great experience, Destiny 2’s PVE oriented multiplayer has the longevity and progression that Halo doesn’t.
If you are wanting to play PVP I can see how it is a good trade. But I still am sad for the loss as the player base will drop on Destiny Xbox.
It’s exactly what happened when Monster Hunter World left Game Pass. The player base died overnight.
I was under the impression that Destiny 2's expansions were going to stay forever, I don't know why.
I entered the Destiny world very late, like a year ago. I did the first's game main campaign, just for the story, and then switched directly to the second one, on SX.
I really liked what I discovered, that universe and that "Halo" feel in the gameplay (after all, it's Bungie).
But two things made me uninstall the game after a while :
@PhileasFragg It's not that great imo - 6/10 at best. There are loads of better games on Game Pass that are much more deserving of your time. Unless you're a diehard for the genre, I'd say skip it. You're not missing anything special.
That's a shame that Beyond Light is leaving, but understandable.
Hope to see it come back in the future!
