If you've been holding out hope for an official Collector's Edition of Halo Infinite, you may be saddened hear that 343 Industries has no plans to release one.
While some Collector's Editions have appeared online at various retailers, there's not going to be an official version. Brian Jarrard, Halo's community director, revealed the news on Twitter, shattering many fans' hopes and dreams.
This being said, Jarrard is still endorsing fans to pick up these third-party Collector Editions to support the game. One appeared at Walmart earlier this month but quickly sold out before it was even formally revealed.
For everyone else, Halo Infinite will be joining Xbox Game Pass on December 8th, with its multiplayer portion arriving as a free-to-play experience. However, there are rumours that the multiplayer could be arriving earlier on November 15th.
We'll just have to wait and see!
Will you be picking up a collector's edition of Halo Infinite? Let us know in the comments below.

Honestly "Collector's Editions" are a grift. The stuff in them is never as cool as it looks (remember the old Halo "Cat Helmet" edition?). You can usually pick up the goodies in them second hand, or in big reductions not too long after release.
A decent franchise will often have a selection of Merch available to buy, and if it's a new IP then do you really want to pay a premium to get your hands on "Joe Bloggs' Iconic Bottle Opener"?
Gutted. Was seriously hoping for one.
I'm surprised they didn't go all out on CEs, they would pretty much sell themselves.
@SplooshDmg What? You returned PS5 and bought a second x? 😆
@SplooshDmg Haha, regifting your slightly used toys....
Honestly I like keeping spares around in case of failure. So not judging! PS5 and X are the only ones I haven't because they're expensive and hard to get
Where are the other locations? Snow? Desert? Jungle? Are they going to patch those areas in?
