Halo Infinite's Fracture: Tenrai event has been ongoing for the past week, allowing you to grab the Yoroi Samurai armour, and 343 Industries has revealed that the event will end (for now) at 10am PT / 6pm GMT on Tuesday, November 30th.
As you may well be aware, Fracture: Tenrai features a free 30-tier Event Pass for you to complete using Event Challenges, but even if you wanted to, you couldn't complete it all over the next couple of days. Instead, it'll be returning five more times before the end of Season 1 in May 2022, with the next appearance coming in January.
Here are the exact dates of when it'll be appearing:
- Week 2: January 4th, 2022 to January 10th, 2022
- Week 3: February 1st, 2022 to February 7th, 2022
- Week 4: February 22nd, 2022 to March 2st, 2022
- Week 5: March 19th, 2022 to April 5th, 2022
- Week 6: April 19th, 2022 to April 26th, 2022
The Fracture: Tenrai event hasn't been without its critics over the past week, with frustration primarily stemming from the lack of free cosmetic content in the Event Pass, along with the purposely slow progression.
343 Industries has promised that it'll be looking into feedback surrounding progression in the near future, with head of design Jerry Cook stating over the weekend that he "feels the pain" and it's "top of my list" of priorities this week.
How have you got on with the Fracture: Tenrai event? Let us know down in the comments below.

This event was pure chaos, power weapons going off everywhere. Had so much fun. Really loved it.
@Chaudy that's Fiesta, which should be a permanent playlist, not a recurring event.
I played so much Fiesta early last week it was fun for a while but when I switched back to the other modes I needed a second to be reminded power weapons appear less frequently.
I hope we can get more than 7 levels out of the next time we see this event. It fell really lacklustre only getting to level 7 this last week.
That last weekly challenge though..
Brutal.
Get 5 killing sprees in Fiesta…
Jezus.
For those playing on Xbox (myself included) we're also being paired with/against PC players. Which of course means Xbox users are at a disadvantage against the Keyboard/Mouse combination.
Hopefully in time there's a way to just play against Xbox console only players.
Had a lot of fun in fiesta just a shame there was only 7 levels available. I have seen one guy wearing stuff from later on in the pass and am clueless to how they got it.
@pip_muzz they are trying not to dilute the matchmaking pool. If you play ranked you can select to play against only controller players, but they may still be on PC
If it is really bothering you there is a way to turn crossplay off for all games in the Xbox settings
@SacredPYRO turning off crossplay in the Xbox settings doesn't turn it off for halo infinite
@SacredPYRO they bought it. On the store.
@Hexamex-Tex ahhh makes sense, I haven't even looked at the store, paid cosmetics are of no interest to me. Last thing I got was a F1 car for rocket league many moons ago.
@Would_you_kindly I did not know this thanks, looked it up and apparently it doesn't work for any Microsoft game.
@Magabro Genuine question, is there a difference? Are there Tenrai events that aren't Fiesta? (I HATED Fiesta and only played it for the challenges).
@JimmyRowe1994 Fiesta is a playlist that has been around in Halo for a long time. Tenrai is a limited time event that was linked to a Fiesta playlist.
I suppose that other past Halo game modes, like SWAT and grifball could be tied to limited events as well.
@SacredPYRO I think it's just for games that have an on off option for crossplay & it sets it to off on those games by default
