Riders Republic has been released into the wild, but it isn't smooth sailing for Xbox Series X players. Many have reported issues with the game crashing since beginning their sports adventure, prompting Ubisoft to respond.
The official Ubisoft Support Twitter account put out an update regarding the crashing issues on Xbox Series X earlier today. The team has acknowledged the problem and is asking the community to help investigate the issue.
Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a time frame of when this will be fixed, let alone a solid identification of why it's happening. It's slowly becoming a worrying trend with Ubisoft titles on Xbox Series X.
Both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion suffered from a wide range of issues on Xbox Series X - the latter being particularly bad with a bug that prevented the game from being saved. Hopefully, these Riders Republic issues can be solved promptly and players on Series X can get back to enjoying the game.

I wasn't too sure about this game but the trial week sold me on it, after I got past the obnoxious intro the game really opened up and it's the type of game where I can just do my own thing the whole time.
Like this article says though, the game has been pretty buggy and I have had it crash on me and freeze on me another time. I think the biggest bug has been my character getting launched up in the air every time I try to land with that fan powered parasail.
Give this game a good couple patches and I'm sure it will be a lot better. As it is, I'm just glad we got a decent extreme sports game.
@Xenomorph_79 Normally I would agree with you, especially given how they always try to upsell you on DLC and the DLC included editions, which go for $100 - $120 which is just a ridiculous amount of money to be paying for a video game.
I got the base version of this game just because it's something that I have been begging for, that we have seen very little of over the years. Plus it seems like most of the extras in this game are just cosmetic items, I think BMX bikes are the only real expansion they are eventually adding.
It crashed twice on me last night. They both happened when I finished a run and received rewards from leveling up. I didn't lose any progress, so it was nothing more than an annoyance, at least it isn't game breaking.
Wanted to like this game but I unistalled it after doing the fly suits in the intro ...just felt so meh to me straight away
I got ‘stuck’ on the 4th race 25 minutes into the 4 hour trial and ive been there ever since!! Obviously the servers remember my progress so every time i boot up im stuck in the same place!
Loaded up the trial on ps5…………….. loaded my cross progression………. Stuck innthe same place🤦♂️
Issue reported to ubi support last thursday and they said they’d look into it. Disaster
@StylesT Definitely try to stick with this game at least until you beat the intro. It takes about an hour to play through the intro, and I found it to be annoying then myself. After the game really opens up and it's a different experience.
I’ve had it crash doing a mass race. And also crash while I was trying to see what you really got with gold edition. Other then that the 6 hours I’ve put into has been amazing. Graphics are pretty good. The map is huge. Lots of variety. Pretty much steep with also bikes. Online multiplayer doesn’t seem to work but I usually just burn through the challenges. Priming me up for Forza. A game I can always go back to.
That message reads as;
"Thanks for buying our game at full price at launch and having the honour of bug testing for us. Please send detailed reports to help fix our game that we clearly didn't quality test properly before we sold it to you. Kind regards, Ubisoft. x"
LOL
They've removed the pre-order bunny costume from the game temporarily. Some believe it may be related to the crashes. Sure enough when I logged in I was stripped naked. Problem is the game crashed for me yesterday when in the middle of the Mass Live event. I wasn't having these issues during the Beta that I remember.
