This week has brought us a few excellent Xbox Game Pass additions, and of them is turn-based adventure Echo Generation, which launched with the service earlier this week. And so far, Xbox boss Phil Spencer is a big fan.
Taking to Twitter, the head of Xbox showered praise on the game, calling it "perfect for any device" while praising its writing, humour, 80s references and art style. He also mentioned how he's having a "great time so far":
We were able to check out Echo Generation for our review, and stated that "the intrigue never lets up", and it "delivers an exciting adventure that Xbox Game Pass subscribers are not going to want to miss out on."
If you haven't given it a try yet, the game is available to download on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, and you can even take it on the go with Xbox Cloud Gaming if you prefer. Loads of choice!

Hadn’t seen this before, thanks for the heads up. The art style is lovely
Looks really fresh, after I'm done with rift breaker I will check it out
Once I'm done with the evil within series, then lost in random, I will jump on this
He nailed it with Lost Words: Beyond the Page and Kaze and the Wild Masks, so it wouldn't be a surprise if his praise was well deserving again here.
It's on my list to play at some point. Before this time next year for sure since some games leave Game Pass within a year.
Downloaded this...will I ever play it
...odds are slim....just got to many games to play and not enough time
Wow. I’m so shocked. Phil Spencer showers praise on something. He is usually so negative. Ha. I love his enthusiasm but his opinion means next to nothing now. He is a hype man. A very good one but it makes me laugh so many people hang off his every word.
That said a lovely bloke and the world could do with more positivity so it’s hard to be down on the fella.
I finish it yesterday, defently an amazing game! if you like a point n click adventure with really nice puzzles and a turn base combat system with mini games witch requires good reflexes then this is excacly your game.
