Last month, Marvel's Avengers received an updated roadmap for its post-launch content ahead of its Xbox Game Pass launch. One of the biggest inclusions coming to the game was the first-ever raid, and now Crystal Dynamics has provided a glimpse into what players should expect to come across.
Based around the War for Wakanda expansion, players will be coming face to face with the notorious villain Klaw in the raid called Klaw Raid: Discordant Sound. The first bit of concept art reveals an underground environment with some extremely high-tech facilities.
Crystal Dynamics claims this is just "one of the areas you'll be visiting" and confirmed players will be able to experience this huge new piece of content before the end of 2021.
Of course, there's an elephant in the room that needs addressing - XP Boosts. These have recently been confirmed to be returning to the game after Crystal Dynamics promised they would never be introduced.
Comments on the concept art seem to be ignoring that raid entirely and instead focusing on the XP Boosts. Opinions are divided with some not understanding the big deal, whilst others are calling for the developer to pay attention to the community.

Whether it's something that will be addressed before the year's end - if at all - remains to be seen, but it's clear the topic isn't going anywhere. People's thoughts are all over the place, however, it's clear Crystal Dynamics needs to come forward and speak about the issue before it gets out of hand.

XP boosters are note a big deal. Game is on Gamepass, the story is great. If you want more.. there is endgame. If you’re not interested in that.. move on. The people that play the end game love the grind for XP. That’s why they are still playing.
@Ocat if the players "love" the grind for xp, who are the devs trying to sells micros, to skip the grind for xp, to?
XP boosters wouldn't be a big deal...if they had been included from the start.
Instead Crystal released without XP boosters, said they wouldn't introduce XP boosters, decreased the XP gain across the whole game due to "balancing the game as players level up faster than intended" and then introduce XP boosters which allow players to earn at the rate they used to be able to earn for free. The way its been handled and delivered is the issue, not the fact that xp boosters exist
The idea of a well balanced game with an appropriate grind offering EXP boosters is fine to me. But I don't trust companies to not make the game harder, more of a grind, and a slog to incentivize players to pay money.
To lower the XP rate and then charge for it later is pretty scummy. If they felt the need to boost the rate, they should have just had a free toggle that restored it to the original rate.
@NotoriousWhiz
yes this is why people are frustrated.
XP boosts are common that’s not the point.
It’s making sure people feel forced to buy one if they, at least, want the same xp rate they’ve been used to for months. THAT is ***** scummy
@Ocat most people are not upset because there are XP boosters. They are upset because they nerfed XP under some obviously disingenuous reasoning only to wait a while and start selling XP boosters.
I am excited to try the raid. Do enjoy the game. Lack of player base only reason not play much anymore.
some people need to understand its not about the "XP boosters"
its about the devs telling they not going to put in the game, then low the xp rate+remove farm xp just to put the boosters.
so the whole "we lower the xp rate cuz it wasnt fun" mean nothing.
and with the raids coming that mean they going to put harder modes so people would want to pay for exp and not really about new content.
thats been said i like the game but not those things, i dont mind to pay for dlcs and expansions.
Well the game's sales have obviously bottomed out. It's on Gamepass which gives even less people reason to buy. So, I think they did this to generate revenue but they should explain that to people instead of ignoring them. Really, they should have not did any mtxs and went bigger on the expansions and charged for them.
