The next major release from Xbox Game Studios arrives this Thursday, October 28th in the form of Age of Empires 4, which unfortunately isn't coming to consoles as of yet, but is nevertheless launching on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
You'll be able to play the game at no extra charge if you're an Xbox Game Pass for PC or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, and the team behind Age of Empires 4 has provided the full list of release times in the image above.
The game has been getting excellent reviews from critics so far, with a current Metacritic score of 83 based on 55 reviews. We'll also have our own review to share here on Pure Xbox, so look out for that in the very near future.
We're still none the wiser about whether Age of Empires 4 will be making its way to Xbox consoles eventually, but we'd be surprised if it didn't get a port in the future — it might just take a fair bit of patience!

The docu series is really selling my partner and I on this game. I think it's awesome they added all that history into the game and really hope it runs on her laptop.
