343 Industries has revealed more details today about the PC version of Halo Infinite, including that AMD is the exclusive PC partner of the game, and AMD has even created a limited edition graphics card to celebrate that fact.
The video above goes into a bit of detail about how the PC version "ensures you have a great experience in-game, out-of-game, and off the screen." This includes things like weapon offset control, triple key-binds and PC LAN support, as well as "baseline expectations like ultrawide / super ultrawide support (including cinematics), FOV adjustment, framerate customization and advanced graphics settings."
"Those of us that work on Halo Infinite’s PC presence are seriously passionate about the franchise, the platform, and our friends in the PC Gaming community. We’ve come together across multiple disciplines from art, engineering, production, licensing, marketing, and community to ensure every touch point PC players have with our game is crafted with a passion for the platform as our central focus."
In regards to the AMD partnership, the game will "take full advantage of ultra-high performance AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series Graphics, based on AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture", as well as fully support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. Better yet the team is working closely with AMD to bring ray tracing to Halo Infinite, which is said to be one of the top development priorities post-launch.
As previously mentioned, AMD has also created an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Halo Infinite Limited Edition graphics card, which offers a "custom shroud design bearing several unmistakable features from the Master Chief himself", fitted with a "reflective, iridium gold fan border, the iconic “117” Spartan callsign, as well as a Cortana-blue light to signify the AI slot on the back of the Master Chief’s helmet."
The downside? This limited edition graphics card won't be available for sale, but instead "AMD, Halo, and other partners will be offering players multiple opportunities over the coming weeks to get their hands on one."
"The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT is the fastest gaming graphics card AMD ever developed and is the perfect graphics card to celebrate the release of Halo Infinite. The AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture powering our Xbox Series X|S consoles is the same architecture powering the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Halo Infinite Limited Edition graphics card, designed to deliver powerhouse performance and incredibly high-fidelity visuals for 4K gaming."
The official Xbox Wire article goes into even more detail about all of this, including information on how the game integrates with the likes of Discord and Razer Chroma RGB on PC to deliver the best experience possible, so be sure to take a look if you're interested. It's all sounding very exciting, and we can't wait to get hands-on in a few weeks' time!

Partnered with AMD. So no DLSS then?
Too bad this isn't for sale. Not that it really matters since I don't game on PC very often, but it's a cool promo.
Also, it's wild how MS has kind of reshaped the way the industry looks at PC releases. Seriously, they have really changed the way console makers view the platform.
"As previously mentioned, AMD has also created an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Halo Infinite Limited Edition graphics card"
So in others 90% of them will end up in crypto farms with very few actually going to fans.
I can understand why they've partnered with AMD due to the console aspect, but if they were serious about PC, they'd have DLSS support.
I don't think any MS game has featured that yet, unless you want to count Deathloop that has recently added it in a patch.
Also, no ray tracing at launch is VERY disappointing.
@blinx01 AMD is in the consoles right? Didn't they apologise as well the other day on a way for pulling them out of the original Xbox. Obviously they are in bed with each other.
