If you happened to watch PlayStation's State of Play event yesterday, you may have noticed a new trailer for the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach - in fact, it was the most viewed trailer from the show.
For those wondering whether the game will ever make its way to Xbox, the answer seems to be a positive one, as a message from last year's original teaser trailer mentions that the game is a three-month console exclusive.
The game is coming out this December 16th for PS4 and PS5, so at the very least we're looking at March 2022 before it makes its debut on Xbox. Given the apparent hype surrounding its launch, we're betting Microsoft will want a piece of it.

Oh here we go, here come the usual comments 😎🍿
I couldn’t care less about this game
I'm convinced. I am switching over to Playstation
Funny thing is the Push Square community present for the live stream are also pretty sure nobody cares. There was more excitement for the Bugsnax expansion dlc....
@NEStalgia tbf from what I know i believe more kids play these games than adults. I tried playing the first game and was left unimpressed yet my partners little brother loves it
@UltimateOtaku91 That makes a lot of sense. I don't do horror, but it always looked more like "soft" horror to me. I could see it as a kids horror. Like the old "tales from the crypt keeper" (not to be confused with actual horror "tales form the crypt")
This is one I really have zero interest in just like the last 3 FNAF. I know my 9 year old is the only person I've heard talk about these games in years and he's certainly not play it. But they must have a fan base so it will matter to those people
Ofc this will be on other platforms. Its timed console exclusive to PS5 and PS4 (it will also be on PC at launch). After 3 months, it will come to Xbox One, Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch (probably)
It still amazes me how little of the market, or at least PlayStation and Nintendo market at all here on the interwebs represent. All the games we collectively know nobody cares about are the top watched trailers. Plus GTA V ..
@SplooshDmg I played AoEIII. I, like, literally can't even empire anymore. Lizbet, Lizbet, Lizbet, Lizbet....(SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Goes the speakers as the game freezes)
@SplooshDmg lol, that's promising. If only I still had a gaming PC....
@UltimateOtaku91 it’s like horror fortnite right?
Okay...I mean, sure.
What a weird deal
@SplooshDmg you know, it's funny, because you just look at Jim and you just smell scotch. Specifically scotch. Idk why, but he just looks like he's got a flask on him.
Know what else let's me play old ps exclusives with an Xbox controller? PS Now and rewasd. Know what doesn't let me play ps exclusives with a ds5? Ps now. Wait, anyone else smell Glenfiddich pass by just now?
@mousieone 😆
@SplooshDmg He's the kind of guy where you can't tell whether he's up or down. Put him in a bathrobe at a a roulette table and he looks the same as in the boardroom, with the same glazed over, weary, half present, insulated from the world look in his eyes that say "who are you people, and why am I wet?"
Khill alltthe Vitashtore....whouses Vita anyway......Vita.....Viiiiitaaa....Veeee-taaaah.....sounds schtupitanyway......wait no! don't killtheViiiiitaaaschtore.....who killed the Vitaschtor? That's not it.... Ragnarok21...Ragnarok22....Ragnarokwhen isch Ragnarok it's always Ragnarok who knows when it's Ragnarok what's Sanna Monica doing. Monica...now shee's a looker.....I know, let's schell people upgrade patches? They'll buy 'em too! Who's thirschty? I got anhaaur before I interview GQ....
I don't buy Kutaragi being the puppet master, though. If it were him, the games would be unique instead of movies and JapanStudio would be making a new Ape Escape.
@SplooshDmg Naturally and artificially flavored! But he hasn't had to drink that thanks to his friend Donny Matrick. He seems more like a vodka & water guy:
Kutaragi was a Nintendo fanboy (he pretty much pushed Sony to get into gaming just so he could work with Nintendo!) and the games he promoted felt like "Nintendo games", which, in hindsight is what I loved about PS back in the day, it was an alternate Nintendo after Sega stopped being the alternate Nintendo. But that was all Ken. His problem was building his "dream machine" at any price, thinking he could get away with it, and thinking anyone wanted to develop for it. But what did he launch it with? Echochrome.... PS3 launch was just so weird.... Still had better games than PS4 though. And PS5 haz no gaems.
@SplooshDmg I really do like xCloud, but I can't say I'm happy to see cloud succeeding. We're actually unbuilding the distributed P2P internet and returning to the mainframes of the 80's. Only instead of one mainframe percompany there's 5 gigantic mainframes worldwide. It's like going back to ARPANET. Google blinks and the entire internet shuts down. That's the opposite of what the internet was intended to be.
"BUT PS3 OUTSOLD 360!!!!"
-A. Pony
I miss Kaz. He was kind of Sony's Phil. They went from dank to great quickly with him (and a little help from slow cousin Donny.) They quickly returned to Yamauchi era Nintendo without him.
