I own from the mainline most except 5/6. The other have interest.
Very interested in RE village - but then again should probably wait until it ends up on GP in the future. Or at least that's what the sensible part of me is saying.
Some amazing prices there! 😁
Makes me want to purchase the digital editions. I have the physical editions of this series but only of this series, everything else I buy digital. Weird.
For someone who’s never played RE, what’s a good recommendation to try one as an entry point?
@Dad Resident Evil 2 it's beyond fantastic. The first one is pretty good too, but the classic camera turns off some people, check some videos to see if you aren't bothered by it, the game it's an amazing experience.
RE7 is another excellent entry point, the gameplay differs somewhat by translating all the classic RE stuff to first person, but it works wonders. And the story is pretty self contained, so no need to know who is who.
Proof capcom is gonna buyout ms..
..or ms buys capcom😆 or buys some popcorn
@Dad re2 remake or re4
If I could get the triple pack for that price on the switch I would for the portability but when they do go on sale on switch there always £11.99 each
@Dad I started last year with the Resident Evil 1 Remake & then played part 2 and that was a masterclass game. So might do it in that order so you can get some easter eggs nd experience the gameplay differences. I feel part 1 captures that B movie feel oh so well!!
@Dad I'd play all of them (except Code Veronica because it has not been remade yet) and start with 0 for story reasons but it's true that 7 is self-contained.
@Dad 1 remake, 2 remake, 4, or 7 are all good starting points. If I had to choose, I'd say 2 remake. Just don't play 3 (or CV) before 2, 5 or 6 before 4, or 8 before 7 and you'll be fine. If you can't decide, just play them in release order but substitute the remakes for the originals (although the remakes of 2 and 3 are significantly different than the originals).
