We've seen Big Team Battles and 4v4 arena battles in Halo Infinite running on social settings, but next week we'll get a look at what the multiplayer aspects of the game are like on a more competitive level.
Halo's eSports lead at 343 recently shared a tweet mentioning how the team had been filming ranked and competitive play - which will also include a blog covering the sandbox and "full gameplay" from start to finish. Halo's community manager reiterated, too:
Halo Infinite will launch on December 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. Are you looking forward to learning more about the game's competitive settings? Leave a comment down below.

I know Halo multiplayer is important to a lot of people, but as someone who is solely interested in the campaign this continued and extended focus on multiplayer has me concerned. It feels like the game is being setup as a multiplayer first and foremost, which also happens to have a campaign tacked on. I hope I'm wrong.
@Spaceman-Spiff considering Microsoft want this game going for 10 years, multiplayer is the way to make that happen. I mean they could release big and small story dlc throughout its lifetime, which they very well might, but the mp is everything for this game to have legs.
I'm getting the feeling the single player will be a bit of a mess. Why continue to hide it.
