Nuclear Throne!
OMG Yes these games are finally coming. I can wait for the princess but I’ll enjoy diving back in with her sister
Wow, I was hoping XIII would arrive next year, now that I'm into cloud replacing a lot of Switch I end up using Game Pass to play games I own so I can play them in the cloud. I do wish cloud would let you play games you own. I feel silly buying GPU mostly to play things already in my library when I'm not at my xbox
Crown Trick is supposed to be good and another release coming day one!
These don't get my excited, but hopefully I'm just uninformed about these titles.
Hopefully XIII will stick around a while. Between Lost Judgment, Metroid Dread, Shin Megami Tensei V, and all the thing's already on my backlog, unlikely to get to XIII this year.
I’m here for Craftopia too. It was on my radar after the Summer Spotlight video. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.
Craftopia, artful escape, surgeon simulator, Aragami 2, and Zone of the Enders (gold), so far...I'm constipated
Maybe I’ll try FFXIII again…I feel in the mood to be disappointed.
I'm not a deck builder game aficionado but the idea for signs of the sojourner sounds like it would be worth a try. Linking your deck to conversations rather than combat is at least worth a look
@NEStalgia remote play lets you play things you own.
FFXIII is a 360 BC titled (enhanced and looks good but still) and only a handful of those work in any kind of streaming capacity sadly…
Thank you God for FFXIII, lol. Too bad it's not on the cloud too...playing a game without having to install it is my new favorite thing.
Thank goodness for FFXIII no way im paying full price for that game!
@mousieone ugh, I forgot most 360 games aren't on cloud. Actually I forget a lot of games exist in the service because of that. It's weird, those games make most sense to stream.
Remote play does, but whether or not that works depends on if you can change accounts on the connected machine. I don't want to put extra hours on the X just for streaming to myself, so I'd use a 1x for that. Sony doesn't let you change accounts on the console other than the psn user. Someone told me Xbox does let you, but I still haven't tried.
I'm still waiting for a proper final fantasy 13 Remaster/Remake
Fang? Fang! Welp time to give XIII another spin.
@NEStalgia accounts? Do you mean profiles? Sorry I’m not following.
@mousieone accounts, profiles, users, whatever it is they call them. I'm a windows nerd. They're accounts.
@NEStalgia yes you can change profiles. You can’t do that with PS? I mean technical I can download myself and log in on my brothers Xbox. o.O I think I misunderstand you..
Also I own Sony stuff but my brother only owns Xbox/Switch so I don’t usually need to swap stuff on my own device.
@mousieone PS remote play let's you connect to your own ps5 primary, and your own PS4 to primary. No other ps. It won't allow you to switch users in the connected ps, it just errors if you try that it's not available in remote play.
It's incredibly restrictive. I assume they're trying to lock down game sharing. Which is exactly what I'm trying to do. In my own home....
@NEStalgia well MS supports game sharing so the answer is yes you can use the consoles you setup. I mean unless that’s changed since last April. I will say you can be active with the same profile on a cloud device and two consoles but that’s “active”.
@mousieone Sony "supports" game sharing but they're very restrictive in that it must be on the physical console, I guess. They're also known to ban accounts if the sharing isn't done from the same IP address at times.
But yeah, that's great if you can log into different xboxes and/or switch users. I really have to try. Every time I remember to try it I have my consoles off in eco mode. I was kind of surprised the first time I tried it on PS5. You just can't connect to any machine but the primary. And you cant access the user change menu while remote playing.
If it does work, that's yet another place where MS just makes it easy to use your stuff the way you want to, and Sony makes it hard.
@NEStalgia MS is about the eco system for Sony it’s the games so that’s two different thought processes going on.
@mousieone I guess it's the years as a PC gamer that set my ways, but to me, things like this, things like copying files to multiple connected HDDs, etc are just the way I expect these boxes to work when I turn them on. Consoles have been PCs since PS4/1, and to a degree PS3/360, especially PS3 where they promoted you could install any other OS. So I expect to just use them all like a PC, not like an SNES. It frustrates to no end when you can't, and 90% of the time, that's Sony. It's not like "MS does this, why doesn't Sony do this" as much as it is "it's intuitively obvious this is how this is supposed to work everywhere, how can they keep getting it wrong?"
Kind of like I said in a different place yesterday, I think Sony still has Nintendo-envy.
